COO of Sepco with Senior Uzbekistan Government Official

The 13th of February, 2019, marked a historic event for Sepco Industries Company Limited and the people of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Dr. Metta Vesessombat, Founder and CEO of Sepco Industries led a delegation of Senior Executives, including COO Jonas Wadenholm, and Director of Business Development Jussi Veikko Saloranta, to the Consulate-General of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There they had the honor of meeting with Mr. Begmurod Akbarov, the Deputy Governor of Sardoba District Syrdarya Region, and Mr. Aziz Aliev, Uzbekistan’s Consul General to Thailand, for an official signing ceremony, solidifying a three-party agreement for Sepco to set up the first Polypetron™ Waste Plastic to Fuel Production Plant in the region of Syrdarya with full support from the Government of Uzbekistan.

The Agreement signed by the Uzbekistan Government, Sepco, and our local Operational Partner marks the beginning of a monumental expansion initiative with the objective of conducting waste plastic to fuel operations all over the country.

All of us at Sepco are very proud of this unique opportunity, and are excited about the prospects of what this momentous milestone represents for us, the people of Uzbekistan, and especially the global fight against excessive plastic waste.
